The Story ...
Our Lady of Broken Pieces is a contemporary musical about Bernadette, a Vancouver woman who transforms grief into hope when a mysterious vision inspires her to build an elaborate shrine in her condo's front garden.
What begins as a simple memorial to her late mother becomes a neighborhood battleground when her controlling ex-husband threatens eviction, setting off an epic struggle that brings together an unlikely alliance: a wounded veteran seeking healing, Bernie's artistic daughter fighting for her dreams, and a lovestruck property manager rediscovering his roots.

Blending magical realism, romance and sharp social commentary, this uplifting story celebrates the power of art, community, and standing up to bullies.
Comparisons? Hmm.. think Six, The Musical meets Next to Normal meets Mary Poppins. :)
A modern and Canadian-themed retelling of the myriad of Virgin Mary apparition stories, this show has themes of family dynamics, immigrant identity, PTSD recovery, and reclaiming feminine power.
